Hey there darlings! I'm super-de-duper sorry about leaving you totally uninformed about all of the crazy shenanigans that went on during the past week and a half; hopefully you didn't resort to becoming a freaky weirdo monitoring my return while sitting in Lotus Position #27 on your bathroom toilet. If you did, then I appreciate your devotion to the blog, hun! Anyways, enough about yoga positions and weirdos, it's time for me to get back in the bloggin' groove! I'm completely prepared to get back into action, folks! I thought I'd start with some RealCeleb news!
Well, while I was innocently browsing the depths of stardoll.com earlier this week I came across a really interesting advertisement that, as always, appeared on the left side of my ever so dandy computer screen. It displayed a picture of miss Marykate Olsen, and said something like 'Visit Marykate's suite'. Sounds familiar, right? Just another ad, nothing out of the ordinary. But as I was waiting for the starbaazar to load I was able to take a closer look at Marykate's me-doll and realized that stardoll made some changes! I finally found a picture of the previous me-doll of miss Marykate that I dug out from who-knows-where, and it appears below.
Reinvention.. virtually!

I personally thought that stardoll did an excellent job on recreating Marykate's medoll.. NOT! It looks plastic, fake, and just plain gross; it didn't look anything like the real Marykate. From the fake-look on her pixel face to the stingy and streaky extensions in 'its' hair, this me-doll is just plain WRONG. Stardoll must've finally woken up and seen the light of righteousness because the made some changes to the overall appearance of Marykate. This is what she looks like currently, compared to an actual picture of her!

Now that's way better! Good job Callie and friends, this might actually resemble the young star. The hair is shortened and actually fades, unlike that gross rat-ness from before, and the facial features look like Marykate. Callie even included Marykate's infamous half-smile that is often mentioned in magazines!
Job well done, stardoll deserves yet another doggie treat! Oh, wait. Hold that thought! I discovered a flaw in the otherwise brilliant transformation of Marykate. While she is in her suite, the make-up that was added to her me-doll to make her all the more dazzling doesn't show. She kind of looks lost without her make-up, as any star would. I zoomed closer and took a shot for all of you to see!

She just looks.. different. That's the only word that I can seem to use to describe it; she needs the anti-sag cream to lighten the virtual bags under her eyes, and without it she looks like an overworked soccer mom who gets 2 hours of sleep per day.
What do you think? Good change, bad change?
