Cow’s milk isn’t good for humans but especially not for babies. Much better to feed babies breast milk, they’ll digest it better.

Fda.gov/ Breast Milk – Cow’s milk contains a different type of protein than breast milk. This is good for calves, but human infants can have difficulty digesting it. Bottle-fed infants tend to be fatter than breast-fed infants, but not necessarily healthier.

Breast milk has many benefits over cow’s milk too.

Fda.gov/ Breast Milk – More than two decades of research have established that breast milk is perfectly suited to nourish infants and protect them from illness. Breast-fed infants have lower rates of hospital admissions, ear infections, diarrhea, rashes, allergies, and other medical problems than bottle-fed babies.

I have experienced the effects of feeding an infant cows milk and let me tell you it’s not pleasant to see your child get an upset stomach and it’s also not pleasant to feel the throw-up trickle down your back.

So ladies, do yourself and your future babies a favor, either breast feed them or pump out the milk beforehand. Just don’t feed your babies cows milk.
