The Spice Girl, who has her own fashion label, topped the annual list by designer Mr. Blackwell, narrowly beating Amy Winehouse and Mary-Kate Olsen.

Mr. Blackwell has released his list of the worst-dressed ladies in Hollywood in 2007. While Victoria Beckham topped the list, Mary-Kate Olsen cam in third!

“YIKES! In layers of cut-rate kitsch, Mary Kate’s look is hard to explain,” Blackwell wrote in a press release today, “she resembles a tattered toothpick-trapped in a hurricane!”

“This past year stands out as one of the most disastrous fashion years in recent memory-as well as being a particularly eye-popping moment in Tinsel-Town where several worst-dressed repeat offenders suffered collective meltdowns.”

“From pop Princesses to movie stars to “It” girls on their way “Out,” this catastrophic crop of couture clowns are truly tragic in the design department. Let it be said, however, that my criticisms are based purely on their fashion flaws-I’m sure they’re all wonderful people beneath the deluge of dreck they drape themselves in.”

I guess Blackwell isn’t one for originality! The girls who topped his best dressed list this year–Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, and Katie Holmes–are gorgeous, fashionable women, but are short on that personal style and pizzazz MK has!Other worst dressed winners included Amy Winehouse, Kelly Clarkson, Jessica Simpson and Avril Lavigne.

The fashion community is torn over Victoria Beckham. The New York Times' Cathy Horyn has heaped scorn on her both in print and in her blog, but W and Elle have put the former and once-again Spice Girl on their covers. Mr. Blackwell, whose infamous annual Worst Dressed List was released today, has no such reservations. Yahoo News reports that the designer-turned-critic put Beckham at the top of his list, saying, "In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty Posh can really wreck-em." He's just as vicious about Mary-Kate Olsen: "She resembles a tattered toothpicktrapped in a hurricane." Olsen, whose new lines The Row and Elizabeth and James are doing gangbusters, is laughing all the way to the bank.

I am a huge fan of Victoria Beckham, so I am very disappointed that she topped Mr. Blackwell annual "Worst Dressed Celebrity List"

The fact that she was above singer Amy Winehouse at number 2 is an absolute disgrace. Of Amy he said, "Exploding beehives above, tacky polka-dots below, she's part 50's carhop horror."

Mary Kate Olsen was third. Fergie was fourth, followed by Kelly Clarkson, Eva Green, Avril Lavigne, Jessica Simpson, and Lindsay Lohan.

He said that Victoria "Wears one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty Posh can really wreck 'em."

On the flipside, Blackwell also released a Fabulous Fashion Independents list that included Reese Witherspoon, Jemima Khan, Beyonce (he has to be kidding me), Angelina Jolie, Helen Mirren, Nicole Kidman, Katie Holmes, Kate Middleton, Katherine Heigl and Cate Blanchett.

Eva Green?! He's fucking lost it. If I was a woman....ok, if I was a biological woman I'd dress exactly like Eva. She is the most glamorous woman in the world. She should be on the best list and she should be the only one on that list. Mr. Blackwell forgot to put himself on his own list, because he's looking beat! He also included Little Nellie which is totally bizarre, but whatever. It's his party. Here's his list:

5.) Kelly Clarkson: "Her heavenly voice soars above the rest... but those belly-baring bombs are hellish at best! She may be the queen of 'Pro-Active' – but that wardrobe looks downright radioactive!"

Last year's #1 loser, Britney Spears, was left off his list, because he said she needs a break. Isn't that nice of him. But EVA GREEN?! If you ask me most of the women on his worst-dressed belong on his best. At least they take chances. His best-dressed list is filled with bores like Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, Katie Holmes, Beyonce, Helen Mirren, Katherine Heigl and some other hags.

Topping his list is Victoria Beckham, whom he calls out for her “skinny-mini monstrosities”. Next up is Amy Winehouse, whom he calls a “part 50’s car-hop horror,” and Mary-Kate Olsen, whom Blackwell says “she resembles a tattered toothpick-trapped in a hurricane.” Ouch! Also making the list: Fergie, Kelly Clarkson, Eva Green, Avril Lavigne, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan and Alison Arngrim. But the fashion critic does offer this salve to the style-challenged, explaining “Let it be said, however, that my criticisms are based purely on their fashion flaws — I’m sure they’re all wonderful people beneath the deluge of dreck they drape themselves in.”

Mr. Blackwell also singles out the women he finds truly fashionable. Reese Witherspoon, Jemima Khan, Beyonce, Angelina Jolie, Helen Mirren, Nicole Kidman, Katie Holmes, Kate Middleton, Katherine Heigl and Cate Blanchett all make the cut. And for those of you who might be surprised that Britney Spears didn’t make a repeat performance, Mr. Blackwell explains “I felt that it was inappropriate at this time to make comment, when her personal life is in such upheaval. I hope 2008 is a better year for her.”
