Mary-Kate took hobo chic to a whole new level by actually parking herself on the sidewalk in Manhattan this week. At least the unseasonably warm weather made it easier for her to enjoy a smoke and a chat on the fine street side. I wonder if any kind passer-bys spared her some change (and then realized she really, really doesn't need it). Little MK made the top five of Mr. Blackwell's worst dressed list for the year, but you gotta give her credit for always doing her own thing. This time she's wearing a shirt that we recently saw on Natalie Portman and Fab's got the details if you want one for yourself. Methinks Mugatu would be a big fan.

Steven Alan's Flannel Ruffle Shirt ($163) exudes a comfy and quirky vibe, hence why Mary-Kate Olsen got her hands on it and wore it while chillin' on the streets of NYC. (Natalie Portman also wore the shirt recently.) Our friends over at Rarechic are nice enough to provide a 15 percent discount on any item for FabSugar readers. Just enter Happy2008 at checkout. Side note: Doesn't MK look like Meg Ryan here? Trippy.

This purse is like a child to me. Well, an adopted child. We don't have a strong family-style bond, but more like a "Since you've come into my life, I'd be briefly devastated if I lost you, but could probably replace you in little-to-no time" style bond.
So nothing like an adopted child at all. I got it at Old Navy, but I like to pretend it's vintage or something.
1. The most important thing I carry in my purse? Not my wallet, cell phone (of which I have none) or iPod....
....my Parliament-Funkadelic booklet. I got this with a Parliament CD and have been carrying it in my purse ever since. If Funk is my religion, this is my Bible. I study it on the bus or whenever I have a spare moment of time. It contains...
inspirational pictures but most importantly...
the Funkencyclo-P-Dia! If I find myself wondering such deeply existential questions like "What is the relationship between Sir Nose D'voidoffunk and Rumpofsteelskin?" or "What prehistoric species did StarChild descend from?", I don't sit back and wait for the answer to come to me...I simply look it up. I've learned more useful things from these two pages than I have in 11 years of Math!
2. My iPod, in its fancy case, is lovely. Some people find theirs invaluable, I don't. The iPod is probably my least favorite method of listening to music, but it always makes those bus rides feel a little shorter.
3. My, um, Lip Smackers in Pink Lemonade and my Strawberry Shortcake lip chaps. Yeah I'm real high class. (I loove the scents)
4. Pictures of a few of my favorite celebrities. This is part entertainment and part inspiration. I've got a couple pictures (of Mick Jagger and of the Arctic Monkeys) cut out of magazines, and a few (of Marianne Faithfull, Ashley Olsen, Anita Pallenberg, etc.) printed off the computer.
5. The setlist from the Prince concert in London. I knew I needed a setlist but I didn't want to be bothered with writing one myself at the show, so I recruited my sister, who was sitting beside me. Whenever he started playing a song, I'd tell her the name and she'd write it down. I probably shouldn't carry something so valuable to me in my purse, but I can't help it.
6. Dental floss. Because I'm orally hygenic!

Christian Louboutin Alpaca Lamb Clutch
When you think designer shoes and red soles, who comes to mind? It’s a no brainier, Christian Louboutin. CL is a standout shoe maker, whose designs are instantly recognizable with the trademark red leather sole which he got the idea from one of his employees. (Fact: One day he saw his employee putting red nail polish on, and instantly, he felt that it would be pretty to paint it on the sole too. Since then it became the signature of his shoes).
In recent time, designer Christian Louboutin branched his accessory line to include creative, distinctively unique bags - Mary Kate Olsen style.
The green emerald gem pictured above is the Christian Louboutin Alpaca Lamb hand held clutch topped off with double mini Louboutin heel ornament closure clasp. How cute and suiting is that from this shoe designer. I know a lot of you are going to disagree with me - I can just see the heart rating located at the bottom of this post quickly shift down to a low rating - but I think this little green fluff is sort of cute. What do you guys think?

Mr. Blackwell has released his list of the worst-dressed ladies in Hollywood in 2007. While Victoria Beckham topped the list, Mary-Kate Olsen cam in third!
“YIKES! In layers of cut-rate kitsch, Mary Kate’s look is hard to explain,” Blackwell wrote in a press release today, “she resembles a tattered toothpick-trapped in a hurricane!”
“This past year stands out as one of the most disastrous fashion years in recent memory-as well as being a particularly eye-popping moment in Tinsel-Town where several worst-dressed repeat offenders suffered collective meltdowns.”
“From pop Princesses to movie stars to “It” girls on their way “Out,” this catastrophic crop of couture clowns are truly tragic in the design department. Let it be said, however, that my criticisms are based purely on their fashion flaws-I’m sure they’re all wonderful people beneath the deluge of dreck they drape themselves in.”
I guess Blackwell isn’t one for originality! The girls who topped his best dressed list this year–Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, and Katie Holmes–are gorgeous, fashionable women, but are short on that personal style and pizzazz MK has!Other worst dressed winners included Amy Winehouse, Kelly Clarkson, Jessica Simpson and Avril Lavigne.

The fashion community is torn over Victoria Beckham. The New York Times' Cathy Horyn has heaped scorn on her both in print and in her blog, but W and Elle have put the former and once-again Spice Girl on their covers. Mr. Blackwell, whose infamous annual Worst Dressed List was released today, has no such reservations. Yahoo News reports that the designer-turned-critic put Beckham at the top of his list, saying, "In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty Posh can really wreck-em." He's just as vicious about Mary-Kate Olsen: "She resembles a tattered toothpicktrapped in a hurricane." Olsen, whose new lines The Row and Elizabeth and James are doing gangbusters, is laughing all the way to the bank.
