(CBS 2) With all the hoopla about the Brad Pitt-Jennifer Aniston breakup, it's nice to hear rumblings another celebrity couple may be trying to reconnect. Thanks to several high-profile sightings - including a New York dinner date with Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen -- some Hollywood insiders are whispering Rebecca Romijn and John Stamos may be getting back together. No comments from the couple's reps, but a longtime friend of Romijn's advised this column Thursday not to bank on it. ''Don't mistake a pleasant, civil friendship with the person you once deeply loved,'' with a rush to re-tie the marital knot that was snipped ''some time ago,'' said the Romijn intimate. On the other hand, Stamos' own recent comments - including an admission he's unhappy to be back in the dating pool - seem to indicate he wouldn't mind reconciling with his beautiful ex. more...
