No point then in asking whether she was happy with her latest film, which had the distinction in North America of earning the lowest screen average ever for a film opening on more than 3000 screens (that is, it was a massive dud)?

"Everyone who went to see it enjoyed it and that's what we wanted to make," Ashley said. "It was more important to us for people to enjoy the film than the box office [result]."

Fair enough. So did Ashley say anything of consequence? Well, the twins are about to go to college but first "we're looking at a bunch of different scripts".

"I don't know whether the next one we'll even do together or not," she said.

Ashley Olsen Opens Up About Mary-Kate's Condition

Last week, hardworking super-teen MARY-KATE OLSEN checked herself into a $30,000-a-month Utah treatment center for anorexia, something her father, DAVE OLSEN, says she's been suffering from for two years. Tonight on ET, Mary-Kate's supportive twin sister ASHLEY is speaking out about how her dark-haired sister is coping with her condition. Also, we go inside the upcoming issue of Us magazine (on stands Friday) in which Dave reveals the status of his daughter's health.

"She's hanging in there," he tells the sleek magazine. "I don't know if [anorexia] is anything you ever get over, I just think you have to deal with it. Now she has a lot of support."

Mary-Kate has been seeking treatment at Cirque Lodge, where a team of counselors, a psychologist and a nutritionist are aiding her in her fight. A local source tells Us that it is also very spa-like and a normal day can include everything from meditation to movies.

When asked about Mary-Kate's condition, Ashley replied, "Things are good."

The twins' father reportedly was the one to spearhead a family intervention with the aid of Mary-Kate's therapist to get his daughter help before she headed off to college this fall, and more importantly, before she turned 18 on June 13 while the family still had legal control over her.

But a source tells Us that the decision was reached in a calm manner and Mary-Kate essentially made her own decision to get help. "Her family was certainly involved, but this was something Mary-Kate knew she needed to do ... she was not dragged to the facility."

And Dave Olsen tells the magazine that Mary-Kate is indeed responding positively to treatment. "It's a good opportunity she's having right now, and it seems she's making progress" he says. "She's looking better and she's carrying herself better. That puts a smile on my face."

"She's hanging in there," Ashley Olsen said of her sister, adding family members were very appreciative of the public support they have received since Mary-Kate's problem was disclosed.

"The support's been really amazing," Ashley Olsen said.

She added that her sister had been struggling with the problem for "quite awhile" before the family stepped in and got help for her.

"She is taking the time she needs for herself right now," Ashley Olsen told People. "Right now is especially a good time right before school so she can get healthy."

The twins, whose most recent movie is "New York Minute," turned 18 earlier this month and plan to attend New York University in the fall.

Olsen, who recently canceled a trip to Australia to promote "New York Minute" to be with her sister, declined to describe their recent meetings.

"It's private," she said. "I'm here for her whenever she needs me, and, you know, that's how it works."

The Olsen twins have cancelled next week's promotional tour to Melbourne after one of the sisters was admitted to hospital.

"Ashley Olsen has decided to be with her family at this time," said Robert Thorne, CEO of the girls' private company, Dualstar Entertainment Group.

"While it is unfortunate that plans have been cancelled, Mary-Kate and Ashley appreciate everyone's support and understanding at this time."

"Mary-Kate Olsen recently entered a treatment facility to seek professional help for a health-related issue," Michael Pagnotta, a spokesman for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who turned 18 on June 13, said in a statement Tuesday. "She is thankful for the encouragement and support of her friends and family who are with her every step of the way."

In-patient programs for eating disorders typically last 30 days. Pagnotta could not say what type of eating disorder Mary-Kate is suffering, but Us says it's anorexia.

Pagnotta "categorically denies" rumors that drugs are involved.

Ashley Olsen will be making a planned trip later this month to Australia and New Zealand without Mary-Kate to launch overseas promotion of New York Minute -- the sisters' first theatrical feature, he said.

The largest Olsen Twins site on the internet is in the battle of it's life to stay online. Apparently DualStar, Mary-Kate and Ashley's company, is accusing the site of serious copyright violations and trying to shut it down. Geraint Lee, the owner of the site, has made a statement in a forum post and is asking for support:
