G+J has begun laying people off -- about 80 so far with several at its struggling teen title YM. Crain's New York Business has the story and Media Life Magazine asks if G+J is putting a big red for sale sign up. Mediabistro actually published some of the names of some of the staff who were laid off (via Women's Wear Daily). I'm going to publish them too. Maybe some of my readers are looking for teen editorial types in NYC.

Jean Kateraas, art department coordinator at YM, has been let go from her position at the magazine.
Ilona Fabian, associate production manager at YM, has been let go from her position at the magazine.
Abby Gardner, beauty director at YM, has been let go from her position at the magazine.
