Last week I wrote a post about how I love all of Elizabeth and James' stuff, but how their clothes are out of my financial comfort zone. You guys started a mini conversation about lines that are overpriced for what you get and, also, those that are worth the dough. Since it's a slow day between Christmas and New Year's, let's continue that here.

The Examiner listed their top five celebrity fashion lines of 2008. Sister acts cleaned up this year with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's couture line The Row taking third spot and their contemporary sportswear line Elizabeth and James taking fifth. Sienna and Savannah Miller's sister line Twenty8Twelve also made the list, coming in at #2.

Ashley was photographed this Saturday, 20, with an unusual look. She went out to stroll through Los Angeles with a stylized glasses. The accessory was a drawing of Santa Claus.

Despite their small spat in Miami a few weeks ago, it seems as if Mary-Kate Olsen and Kirsten Dunst are back on good terms. People spotted them at Bardot Hollywood together earlier this week, dancing together and whispering all night long. People says MK was wearing a long black dress and glasses with pink frames.

Yahoo looked at the top 10 celebrity comebacks of 2008 and put Mary-Kate Olsen on the list at #7. They were impressed with her acting comeback, appearing in Weeds and The Wackness, furthered her fashion prowess by co-writing Influence with sister Ashley, and just looked healthier and happier than she has in a long time. Kudos to Yahoo for recognizing MK's achievements this year, both professionally and personally.

What event made me tightly grip the sides of my hot-pink office chair, you ask? While I was perusing through the ever so lovely starbazaar only a little while ago in effort to find some bargains, my eyes were fixed on the sight of one collection of pixels in particular, which had the power to cause my heart rate to increase to the average rate of 20 jittery hamsters. You see, I was face-to-face with a piece of virtual fabric that many stardollians would shed tears, sweat, and possibly even blood to get their grubby hangs on: this article of clothing is commonly referred to as the Mary-kate Olsen Tunic.
