Reports are mixed so you be the judge. Is Mary Kate Olsen headed back to rehab?
Here’s what we know.
We’ll start with those who claim she’s rehab-bound. Star Magazine’s most recent cover story features the child star and they seem to think that she’s headed in a bad direction.
The reason? Possible boyfriend Heath Ledger’s untimely death in January. Olsen was the last number called in Ledger’s phone so even if they weren’t dating, they were at least in recent contact and his death is really taking a toll on her.
More fuel for the fire is Olsen’s recent collapse after a night of partying in L.A. and reports that shortly after the fall, she headed to a hollistic health spa for detox purposes.
“Mary-Kate seriously needs to get to rehab, but she doesn’t think she has a problem,” says a source.
“She thinks she’s young, hip and entitled to live her life as she sees fit. But it’s affecting everything.”
On the other side of things, folks are saying that MK is on a rebound from her depression following Ledger’s death and that model Jessica Stam is keeping her on the right track.
They reportedly hung out for the July 4th holiday and Olsen was seen laughing it up with Stam and her friends while sipping Snapple antioxidant water.
Some also question the “collapse” and if it wasn’t anything more than a simple trip. And while rumors of feuds between MK and sis Ashley swirl, MK seems to be the one out there working(she recently landed a solo Elle magazine cover spot) while Ashley remains in the shadows.
So all you rehabs out there, don’t be recruiting the famous twin just yet. We shall soon see if all the talk of problems is really just that: talk.
