Why the sudden change? Why isn't she hiding? I know why. She decided to stop fighting the paparazzi. She decided to give them what they always wanted -- a full on Mary-Kate. But you know what they say, be careful what you wish for. You see, most people think she hides because she wants to save herself for photo shoots. But that wasn't it. She was trying to protect the paparazzi. She knew they couldn't take a full on frontal of Mary-Kate. The total combined effect of her childlike innocence, her indescribable adorableness, and her overpowering sweetness would be too much for them. But no more. "No more Miss Nice Lady," she decided. "From now on I'll give it to them. Full force."
She saw him out of the corner of her eye at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood, snapping her picture gleefully. Without warning she swung around and faced him.
"Alright, you want it? You asked for it," she shouted angrily.
It wasn't pretty.
Her eyes locked with his. He managed to take the shot above before he fell under her spell. He tried to look away but couldn't. He was glued. Mesmerized. Like Icarus who flew too close to the sun he was a victim of arrogance. Who was he to gaze upon a beauty such as Mary-Kate? He was so not worthy.
He went down hard. As he lay on the ground trembling he whispered hoarsely, "Those eyes. My God those big green beautiful eyes. Nooooo...too much...make it stop." But it was too late.
He was taken to the emergency room but it was no use. Diagnosis? Terminal cuteness affliction. God rest his soul.
