Mary-Kate was contacted by Ashley's lawyer who threatened to sue her for $150 million if she didn't play fair. Ashley's lawyer Larry Stanton read a statement from Ashley to the press, "For 18 years it's been Mary-Kate and Ashley. It's my turn!" So to keep DualStar together Mary-Kate agreed to the change. Mary-Kate was later heard to say angrily to reporters: "I don't give a flying fricken f*ck!"
