If you happened to be at the Borders store in LA yesterday, you were in for a big surprise, for the perfectly petite Olsen twins swung by the store to sign copies of their new coffee table book, Influence.
And, of course, the pair were their usual stylish selves. Ashley (that's her on the left, in case you can't tell them apart - we still have trouble to be honest) sported a very-this-season leather skirt with a black t-shirt and a long grey cardigan, whilst twin sister Mary-Kate wore an oversized dress cinched with a bright red belt and some killer open toe boots.
The tome features never before seen images from the twins' personal collections, giving an insight into their superstar lives, as well as interviews with "the most interesting, challenging, creative people we know", (or so Ashley says). And those people they know just happen to be some of the most important people in fashion today - people like John Galliano, Christian Louboutin, Terry Richardson and the great Karl Lagerfeld.
We've been excited about this book for longer than we care to remember, and reckon that it would make the perfect Christmas present - just in case any of our nearest and dearest are reading..!
