Ashley goes glam in a gilt empire-waist Oscar de la Renta gown, gold heels and blond waves at the New York Costume Institute Gala. But wafer-thin Mary-Kate is a real hippie chick in a sheer white vintage shirtdress, natural beads and bright red curls. Hey, at least she's not swallowed up in her usual heavy bag-lady layers.

i don´t know, but it´s better to dress like mk than like paris hilton, in a magazine mk´s style was called homless style! i like her but is it nessessairy to dress like she is doing?

I dont think mary kate dresses bad. Its stylish, but somtimes the layers get a little extreme, making her look like “that crazy old bag lady.” Does anyone notice how she brings in her nose when she’s in front of cameras, making her smile look distorted and like a duck. Try bringing in your nose, then smiling. There you go, another olsen!
