Stamos show will be called `Jake in Progress'


After kicking around for the better part of a year as "the untitled John Stamos project," ABC's midseason comedy starring Stamos finally has a title.

If it gets a premiere date -- the network hasn't scheduled it yet -- it will really be in business.

The single-camera show will be called "Jake in Progress," with Stamos starring as hotshot New York publicist Jake Phillips. The "Progress" part of the title refers to the character's efforts to stop being such a cad and find that special woman.
