December 21st, 2008 - Elizabeth and James

SOURCE: Stardoll: Cat Fights. Party Nights. Exclusive Sights. Ah,Just Right!

The spirit of the Christmas season has ultimately inspired the stardoll staff to open their hearts to all of members of our beloved dolly website; yes, I know it is pretty hard to believe, but stardoll's recent generosity is the perfect example that doesn't fail to prove how much Callie and Company want to avoid receiving coal in their stockings yet again! One of the many random acts of kindness that stardoll has displayed would be the release of yet another clothing line, commonly referred to as 'Elizabeth and James'!

This new clothing line is relatively cheap, ever so chic n' classy, and totally wearable! However, even though EAJ (Elizabeth and James, of course) deserves all of the titles written above, its release also bears a down-side: every article of clothing from the line is only available until December 21! I just don't get it, folks. It's literally taken ages for stardoll to release the perfect clothing line, and when they finally manage to complete the task, they decide to snatch it away from stardollians only a week after it is released to the public? The decision has its ups and downs, though.
The 'Ups'
  • The very lucky stardollians who manage to walk away with clothing from EAJ will own exclusive pieces within only a few weeks' time, and will be envied by the people who desperately seek to own the clothing.
  • Unlike the new 'Limited Edition' clothing, EAJ is actually affordable; buying the entire EAJ line amounts to only 147 stardollars, and the amount of money spent in hopes of owning the entire LE line is a whooping 2,685 stardollars.
The 'Downs'
  • EAJ is only available for superstars; so, nonsuperstars end up screwing the pooch in the end, as always!
  • The clothing is only avaiable for a limited time, and the stardollians that happen to log in from a week's absence only to find the line disappear before their eyes will not be happy!
  • Articles of clothing from the line will literally invade all corners of the Star Baazar, which will probably drive avid 'Hotbuy Hunters' who already own the line insane!
Most of you will probably agree with the statements posted above, eh? Although the line is lovely and inexpensive, it is only available for a limited time, which can either be a good or bad detail. In this case, only time will tell!
Now that you've heard my opinions about the line, what do YOU think about it? Love it, hate it, or undecided?
