According to an article in Variety and others it seems that the vultures reporters at the Weeds TCA press conference were irked that they couldn’t spend the whole Weeds press conference  grilling poor little Mary-Kate about all that juicy gossip that seems to swirl around her and Ashley like a pack of (f)lies. The reporters cried like babies and had the nerve to call her immature for trying to put the spotlight  back onto Weeds where it belonged.

Earth to sleazy crybaby reporters: grow yourself up ya morons.

When Phillip Lim found out Mary-Kate and Ashley would be expanding into the contemporary clothing market with their new label, Elizabeth and James, he was not amused.

Who is Phillip Lim and why is he so upset?

Phillip Lim was until recently an unknown women’s fashion designer.

After years of working in the shadow of others he is coming into his own and was awarded the prestigious CFDA’s Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent in Womenswear.

He’s so upset because he thinks it’s unfair that celebrities like Mary-Kate and Ashley are entering the market and daring to compete with him.

He whines that they’re using their fame to sell their products and "legitimate" designers like him have no chance.

But wait, don’t designers use celebrity fame to help sell their products? All the time. Do you think he’d turn down the chance to have a celebrity wear one of his designs at an event? I don’t think so.

Hypocrisy + sour grapes = Phillip Lim.

I say take back that award and give it to an emerging talent who deserves it. Hint.

As you can see she glued her hand to her ear again. When she’s disappointed or sad or gloomy or just needs to relax and get away from it all she goes to her workshop and puts together model planes.

Unfortunately, almost every time, she manages to glue her hand to some part of her body. This time it was her ear — it was itchy.

My guess is she must of been distracted by her continual failure to find the perfect vintage home in NY.

Mary-Kate will play Tara on the Showtime comedy "Weeds."

Mary-Kate Olsen is returning to television with a co-starring role on Showtime’s dark comedy "Weeds."

On the Lionsgate-produced show, Olsen will play Tara, a devoted Christian girl living in the newly developed megachurch community Majestic who becomes a love interest for Nancy Botwin’s (Mary-Louise Parker) son Silas (Hunter Parrish). Olsen will appear in 10 of the 15 episodes of the show’s third season.

"I’m thrilled to be a part of the show," Olsen said. "It’s really an honor to be a part of such a talented group of actors and writers."

NBC - Ashley Olsen is renting a $22,000-a-month party house in Malibu, where she plans to celebrate her 21st birthday on June 13 - when she hits the legal drinking age. “Ashley and MK [her twin sister Mary-Kate] plan to spend much of the summer in Malibu,” a “pal” told In Touch Weekly. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom bungalow has a flat-screen television in every room, and even though the place is only a rental, the pint-sized mogul has met with a decorator.

Remember a few weeks back when Your Mama told you that itty bitty Ashley Olsen was house hunting for a modest and private little place to call home?

Well, we hear she has not purhased anything yet, but has in fact leased a house up in the hills of Hollywood. We were unable to wrangle much information from our source close to the tiny tycoon but were told it’s a great house with a great view and a swimming pool. And maybe most important, it’s pry-vit.

Guess this means our favorite mini mogul isn’t going back to New York to finish up her education?

The Row features coats made out of luxurious silky lamb fur, but the Association of Scared Sheep (A.S.S.) is furious about it.

In a statement released to the press the association that represents scared sheep the world over complained about Mary-Kate and Ashley’s new adult fashion label, The Row.

I have a large, red quilted Chanel bag that I borrowed from my sister Ashley. I wore it to an event and nevergave it back.

Luckily, she's moved on to another bag, so I'm safe for now.

I'm not quite sure how many bags I have, but let's just say I have a few. When I find a bag I like, I tend to wear it to death until I become obsessed with another one. This probably happens three to five times a year. But I always comeback to the Chanel. The size isn't overwhelming, and it has enough subtle detail to keep it interesting. I also have the smaller version in blue and in white, but the red is definitely my favorite.

I don't have a stylist -- I'd rather just do my own thing and put together my own outfits. The chain-handle bag is the perfect accent to almost any combination I come up with. I look at everything with a designer's eye, but I wouldn't change a thing about this bag. I think that's why it's a true classic.

OLSEN'S REP SLAMS ANOREXIA RELAPSE REPORTS


A representative for MARY-KATE OLSEN has slammed reports she has relapsed in her battle with anorexia after an appearance at a Golden Globe Awards after party last week (ends19JAN07)..... "

Apparently Paris Hilton neglected to pay her monthly storage fee and all her items were sold last September, 2006. According to this post, Ashley's phone number was found among those items. Again.

Just got home from Lake Tahoe.

Tonight, I went out to dinner with my peeps to Blue Ribbon. Halfway through dinner, I look up to notice a pack of strange-looking people clustered by the hostess stand.

"Are those two asking to use the bathroom? Are they homeless?" asks my friend. The three of us turn simultaneously in time to see a blonde, scraggily Mary-Kate Olsen be seated on the table next to us with an even blonder, more-scraggily-looking man. We crack up because we thought they were homeless. For the rest of the evening, we proceed to watch Mary-Kate look exceedingly bored and fiddle with her Sidekick.

That's right I said it. He's stupid. The stupidest. Why? He wouldn't commit to Ashley that's why. So it's over, he blew it, she dumped him. I know, hard to believe. What sane guy wouldn't give his right testicle to be with her?

I called him but all he could do was cry out these words over and over...

Mary-Kate Olsen says Johnny Depp is her style icon.

The 21-year-old actress - one half of the multi-million pound Olsen film, fashion and merchandise empire with twin sister Ashley - has revealed she is inspired by the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor's unique sense of style.
