Crybaby Reporters Complain about Poor Mary-Kate
Excuse my language but this really irritates the living f%ck out of me:

According to an article in Variety and others it seems that the vultures reporters at the Weeds TCA press conference were irked that they couldn't spend the whole Weeds press conference grilling poor little Mary-Kate about all that juicy gossip that seems to swirl around her and Ashley like a pack of (f)lies. The reporters cried like babies and had the nerve to call her immature for trying to put the spotlight back onto Weeds where it belonged.
Earth to sleazy crybaby reporters: grow yourself up ya morons.
...Showtime may have hoped to lure in younger viewers when it signed on Mary-Kate Olsen for a role on "Weeds." But it couldn't have been thrilled with the press reaction to the former child star.
Olsen looked somnolent, barely mumbling answers to the many questions she was asked, and distracted from talk about the series. The media got so perturbed (Canadian columnist Bill Brioux: "Acting like an adult was not a priority for Olsen on this day") that exec producer Jenji Kohan had to interrupt, "Let's talk about 'Weeds.' "

Help1Up is a charitable service that helps those in need get some free furniture. Wow, so the people who took my furniture and stereo and my iPhone and my iPod and my iDog while I was on vacation were doing it for a good cause? I thought they were burglars! You see how wrong you can be about someone? I think their communication skills need work though -- I didn't see it coming.
Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen and their mary-kateandashley brand announced their endorsement of Help1Up, the home furnishings industry’s free, socially responsible, and environmentally friendly used furniture removal service.
Through a network of dozens of furniture banks, and facilitated by the non-profit National Furniture Bank Association (NFBA), the Help1Up service collects gently used furniture from the general public and provides it directly to children and families in need. Typical recipients of the furnishings are victims of natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina, women and children escaping domestic violence, and working families living below the poverty line.
“Ashley and I are happy to endorse Help1Up,” said Mary-Kate Olsen. “There’s no reason why usable furniture should be thrown away when it can instead provide a family in need with basic comfort and dignity.”

When Phillip Lim found out Mary-Kate and Ashley would be expanding into the contemporary clothing market with their new label, Elizabeth and James, he was not amused.
Wow, how unfair.
Who is Phillip Lim and why is he so upset?
Phillip Lim was until recently an unknown women's fashion designer.
After years of working in the shadow of others he is coming into his own and was awarded the prestigious CFDA's Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent in Womenswear.
He's so upset because he thinks it's unfair that celebrities like Mary-Kate and Ashley are entering the market and daring to compete with him.
He whines that they're using their fame to sell their products and "legitimate" designers like him have no chance.
But wait, don't designers use celebrity fame to help sell their products? All the time. Do you think he'd turn down the chance to have a celebrity wear one of his designs at an event? I don't think so.
Hypocrisy + sour grapes = Phillip Lim.
I say take back that award and give it to an emerging talent who deserves it. Hint.
The House That Mary-Kate Olsen (Almost) Built

As you can see she glued her hand to her ear again. When she's disappointed or sad or gloomy or just needs to relax and get away from it all she goes to her workshop and puts together model planes.
Unfortunately, almost every time, she manages to glue her hand to some part of her body. This time it was her ear -- it was itchy.
My guess is she must of been distracted by her continual failure to find the perfect vintage home in NY.

Mary-Kate Olsen Returning to Television!
Mary-Kate will play Tara on the Showtime comedy "Weeds."
Mary-Kate Olsen is returning to television with a co-starring role on Showtime's dark comedy "Weeds."
On the Lionsgate-produced show, Olsen will play Tara, a devoted Christian girl living in the newly developed megachurch community Majestic who becomes a love interest for Nancy Botwin's (Mary-Louise Parker) son Silas (Hunter Parrish). Olsen will appear in 10 of the 15 episodes of the show's third season.
"I'm thrilled to be a part of the show," Olsen said. "It's really an honor to be a part of such a talented group of actors and writers."

I have a large, red quilted Chanel bag that I borrowed from my sister Ashley. I wore it to an event and nevergave it back.
Luckily, she's moved on to another bag, so I'm safe for now.
I'm not quite sure how many bags I have, but let's just say I have a few. When I find a bag I like, I tend to wear it to death until I become obsessed with another one. This probably happens three to five times a year. But I always comeback to the Chanel. The size isn't overwhelming, and it has enough subtle detail to keep it interesting. I also have the smaller version in blue and in white, but the red is definitely my favorite.
I don't have a stylist -- I'd rather just do my own thing and put together my own outfits. The chain-handle bag is the perfect accent to almost any combination I come up with. I look at everything with a designer's eye, but I wouldn't change a thing about this bag. I think that's why it's a true classic.

Just got home from Lake Tahoe.
Tonight, I went out to dinner with my peeps to Blue Ribbon. Halfway through dinner, I look up to notice a pack of strange-looking people clustered by the hostess stand.
"Are those two asking to use the bathroom? Are they homeless?" asks my friend. The three of us turn simultaneously in time to see a blonde, scraggily Mary-Kate Olsen be seated on the table next to us with an even blonder, more-scraggily-looking man. We crack up because we thought they were homeless. For the rest of the evening, we proceed to watch Mary-Kate look exceedingly bored and fiddle with her Sidekick.
